It is with great sadness that we give you the news of the passing of a long-time friend, Artie Traum. Artie had been receiving treatment for a rare cancer, but it was discovered in May that this had spread to his liver. Due to his illness, he was unable to return to the Towne Crier this past July 12. We will fondly remember his many solo performances over the years, as well as his duos with his brother, Happy. He was an exceptional guitarist, songwriter, producer and a great friend. We feel lucky to have known him, and we will miss him greatly.
