CHRIS TRAPPER

As anyone who has seen Dana Fuchs in ACROSS THE UNIVERSE or at her amazing performance at Ridgefield's Ballard Park this summer can testify, this rising star is a phenomenon – a singer whose mesmerizing voice & stage presence has led critics to compare her to Rock legends from Janis Joplin to Mick Jagger. Not surprisingly, she was chosen to star in the off-Broadway production "Love, Janis."
And, Fuchs wasn't just in one of last year's most talked-about films, Across The Universe, this singer-songwriter-actress has a major presence both in the film and on the soundtrack.
Perhaps Stereophile Magazine said it best: "Imagine a sultry, more emotive Janis Joplin, backed by a higher energy version of the late '60s Rolling Stones… Rock n' Roll doesn't get any better."

photoMost widely known as the writer/front-man for the nationally acclaimed band THE PUSH STARS, CHRIS TRAPPER's sincere, heartfelt songs with timeless melodies envelope and transport you like a good movie does. Maybe that's why they've been picked up for major motion picture soundtracks including There's Something About Mary and The Devil Wears Prada; and for TV shows such as ER and Malcolm in the Middle. His song themes range from deeply reflective to comedic fun, and back to romantic intimacy.
