This group features David Buskin, Rob Carlson and George Wurzbach. These are three celebrated singer-songwriters unfettered by taste and sensitivity who have just been announced as winners of the 2007 New York Nightlife Award for Best Cabaret Comedy Group. They delight audiences with comic and satirical themes ranging from God to Godzilla, and from ESPN to the FBI. Originally "The Testostertones," they earned a standing ovation at the Kerrville Folk Festival '99. David Buskin is known as half of Buskin and Batteau for the last 12 years. His songs have been recorded by Judy Collins, Peter, Paul & Mary, Tom Rush, and others, and he's also composed ad jingles for clients like Coca Cola, the Army, Jif, Amtrak and others, earning the coveted Clio Award. Rob Carlson is a writer, producer, and comedian, and is heard every week on radio nationwide as singing social commentator, "Ramblin' Bob." George Wurzbach earned the 1995 New Folk Award at the Kerrville Folk Festival. He's performed on stage with Tom Paxton, Peter Yarrow and others, and his debut solo CD, Not Pictured, was selected as a Top 12 indie release by Performing Songwriter magazine. Their newest release together is entitled Assisted Living.
