This event has become an annual tradition at the Towne Crier. In an unforeseen circumstance, a couple members of Cherish the Ladies will not be in the country until after Thanksgiving due to travel restrictions. However, band leader Joanie Madden, the 2021 National Heritage Award Winning flute and whistle player, has assembled an All-Star lineup featuring some of the world’s finest Irish musicians to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Joanie will be joined by co-founder of the band and gifted guitarist Mary Coogan, as well as All-Ireland accordion champion, Mirella Murray; along with All-Ireland singing Champion Molly O’Riordan; the beautiful singer, guitarist and uilleann piper Bruce Foley; and All-Ireland champion fiddler John Reynolds.
It’s always a joyous night as Joanie and friends entertain you with a fun mix of songs and tunes that is sure to make your family and friends gathering at the Towne Crier a memorable event.
On Sunday, Dec. 5, the entire 10-member group, along with dancers, will present a Celtic Christmas program that will begin at 5 p.m. Those who purchase tickets to both shows will receive a 25% discount; please call (845) 855-1300.
